Cory Killeen, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

At Neighborhood NP Wellness, Cory specializes in women’s health, with a dedicated focus on postpartum, perimenopausal, and menopausal care. She believes women deserve thoughtful, evidence-based care that honors both physical health and lived experience. Her approach centers on education and empowerment, helping patients understand their bodies, advocate for themselves, and feel confident at every stage of life.

A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Cory has served the Southwest Washington community for nearly three decades. After moving to Vancouver in 1996, she began her nursing journey at Clark College, laying the foundation for a career defined by compassion and deep community connection. Her clinical background spans preoperative and postoperative care as well as COVID relief efforts, but it was her 17 years in labor and delivery that profoundly shaped her commitment to women’s health. Walking alongside women through these vulnerable and transformative seasons remains one of the greatest privileges of her career.

Cory’s practice is an extension of her values. She believes a person's light can shine brightly without being loud; her faith guides this mission, inspiring integrity, humility, and genuine care for every patient who walks through her door.

Deeply rooted in the area she proudly calls home, Cory and her husband have raised three children in Southwest Washington and remain committed to serving their neighbors. Neighborhood NP Wellness was built on a simple, enduring belief: these are our neighbors—and they deserve exceptional care.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Thank you so much for asking! At this time, Neighborhood NP Wellness is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. However, we’re happy to provide you with a detailed superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many patients are also able to use their HSA or FSA funds for visits and services. If you’d like help understanding how that works, I’m always happy to walk you through it. 🤍

  • That’s a great question 🤍 Right now at Neighborhood NP Wellness, I am welcoming women who are looking for support in the seasons of postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause, as well as those seeking thoughtful guidance with metabolic health and weight loss. These phases can feel overwhelming and often underserved, and my heart is to provide personalized, evidence-based care that truly listens and supports you through them. If you’re unsure whether you’d be a good fit, I’m always happy to connect and talk it through.

  • I am currently licensed to practice in Washington and Oregon. If you’re located in either of those states and looking for support, I’d be honored to care for you.

  • At this time, Neighborhood NP Wellness does not provide in-office gynecologic procedures such as Pap smears, IUD insertions, or annual pelvic exams.

Our practice is focused on comprehensive consultation, lab evaluation, and personalized treatment planning. We spend dedicated time on detailed history, symptom assessment, hormone and metabolic review, and evidence-based care plans. We do check basic vitals and weight in the office as part of your visit.

We encourage all patients to maintain routine preventive gynecologic care with their primary care provider or OB/GYN, and we’re always happy to collaborate to ensure you receive well-rounded care.

  • At Neighborhood NP Wellness, your labs are included in the cost of your consultation fee. We’ve negotiated discounted cash-pay pricing with both Quest Diagnostics and Labcorp, so you don’t have to worry about surprise bills or complicated insurance processing.

Because of this structure, we do not bill insurance for labs separately. Many patients appreciate the transparency and simplicity of knowing the cost upfront.

  • Great question—thanks for asking! If you were previously a patient of Cory’s at Evergreen Women’s, you don’t need to start completely from the beginning.

That said, every patient will schedule an initial consult, as it allows for a more comprehensive and updated lab review compared to what may have been done previously.

If you feel your care is already well-established but would like to continue working with Cory, we still recommend booking the Initial Consult for your first visit and completing the online health questionnaire so we can ensure continuity and the highest level of care.

  • Please get in touch with your pharmacy first — they can often process refill requests directly and will reach out to us if a new authorization is needed. This is the fastest way to get your medications refilled without delays.

Thank you for trusting us with your care. We're honored to be part of your wellness journey!

  • The patient portal is our preferred way to communicate, and we always love hearing from you! When you send a message, please allow up to 7 business days for a response. While I may occasionally check and respond to messages on weekends when my schedule allows, this isn't something you should count on — please plan accordingly, especially for time-sensitive needs.

A Note on Privacy & Contact

To protect your privacy, please do not send patient information, health questions, or clinical concerns via text or email. These channels are not secure for sensitive health information. The patient portal is the safe and appropriate place for all health-related communication.

  • We know it takes a few extra minutes to complete — and we promise it's worth it.

Our goal for your first appointment is to spend the entire 60 minutes building a personalized, actionable plan of care with you — not gathering background information about you. By completing your health history, current symptoms, medications, and goals before you arrive, we can hit the ground running the moment we sit down together.

Think of the intake form as doing the administrative work ahead of time so your appointment can be focused entirely on you — your concerns, your questions, and your next steps. No time spent on paperwork, no rushing through your story. Just a real, unhurried conversation about where you are and where you want to be.

And please know — if any question feels unclear, uncomfortable, or you simply aren't sure how to answer, it is completely okay to leave it blank. Nothing on the form is meant to feel overwhelming. We would much rather you come in and talk through it together than stress over getting every answer perfect before your visit. Your session is a safe space, and we are always happy to cover anything from the intake form during your appointment.

    Your time matters.
